Courses and All That Jazz
That's right. I'm about to become a swot again!
I've just enrolled on a level 4 Community,Psychiatry and Mental Health course which is the equivalent to a HND. I'm so excited.
I'm just waiting for all my materials to arrive and then I can start.
I'm doing it via Distance Learning because of various issues I have with getting to and attending a "bricks and mortar" college.
Not such a big deal though because I work better on my own than part of a class anyway.
I decided not to do a photography course because photography is a big passion of mine and I don't want to ruin my love of it by forcing myself to have to do assignments etc that would be part of a course. Plus, I don't want a job in the photography field. Photography is my passion and something that helps me to unwind. I'd worry that if I tried to take it full time (which would be very hard, not to mention stressful) that it would ruin my love for it.
I chose Psychiatry because it's something I'm interested in and I have a lot of background knowledge of it and inside info, seeing as I've been involved with mental health services for many years, it gives me a headstart.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to buying books.
What are you looking forward to this year?
